Os Dimmu Borgir e os Amon Amarth vão invadir Portugal, no dia 9 de Outubro, em Lisboa, no coliseu de Lisboa. Os Dimmu durante Setembro e Novembro vão fazer uma tournée européia em promoção ao seu novo disco, “In Sorte Diaboli”. Intitulada 'The Invaluable Darkness Tour 2007', os Amon Amarth são a banda convidada para abrir os concertos. Os americanos e reis do metal progressivo Dream Theater , estão de regresso a Portugal no dia 20 de Junho, ao Coliseu do Porto. Os bilhetes custam 22€ (galeria), 25€ (plateia em pé) e 28€ (tribuna). O novo álbum “Mastercutor”, de U.D.O. já está finalizado. O CD tem data de lançamento para o dia 18 de Maio através da AFM Records. O jornal finlandês Ilta-Sanomat , anunciou que os Nightwish já elegeram a substituta de Tarja Turunen. No entanto a banda ainda não divulgou o nome da vocalista. Apesar do segredo o jornal afirma que a nova voz dos Nightwish é a ex-vocalista dos Tristania , Vibeke Stene. Existem já várias pistas que apontam Vibeke como a elegida, Frank Stroebele, uma pessoa reconhecida e influente no meio musical (manager dos Within Temptation e Anastacia ), foi questionado alguns dias atrás sobre o assunto e respondeu: “pelo que sei a nova vocalista é Vibeke”. No entanto, a única informação até ao momento da parte dos Nightwish, vem do seu manager Ewo Pohjola, da King Foo Entertainment. “Ela integrou-se muito bem com o resto da banda” e comentou “Tem muito talento é inteligente e amável. Tudo isto por enquanto não passa de rumores.

Os Nocturnal Rites , intitularam o seu próximo álbum de "The 8th Sin", o qual está previsto sair no dia 28 de Maio, pela Century Media Records.
